Appointment with various departments of AIIMS

facilitates taking appointment with various departments of AIIMS using eKYC data of aadhaar number if patient's mobile number is registered with UIDAI and using name if mobile number is not registered with UIDAI. Patient will get appointment as well as Unique Health Identification (UHID) number in case of new patient. If aadhaar number is already linked with UHID number, then appointment number will be given and UHID will remain same.

Patients can also get appointment without aadhaar number also. In this case, patient needs to enter all details to get appointment and UHID number will not be generated for new patients and patient needs to get the UHID from registration counter of AIIMS.

ORF is a framework to link hospitals for aadhaar based online registration and appointment where counter based OPD registration and appointment through Hospital Management Information System (HMIS) has been digitalized.



Digital life certificate for pensioners (Jeevan Pramaan)

Jeevan Pramaan is a biometric enabled digital service for pensioners. Pensioners of Central Government, State Government or any other Government organization can take benefit of this facility.

One of the major requisite for the pensioners post their retirement from the service, is to provide life certificates to the authorized pension disbursing agencies like the bank, following which their pension is credited to their account. In order to get this life certificates the individual drawing the pension is required to either personally present himself/ herself before the Pension Disbursing Agency or have the Life Certificate issued by authority where they have served earlier and have it delivered to the disbursing agency.

Digital India Programme

Digital India is an initiative of Government of India to integrate the government departments and the people of India. It aims at ensuring the government services are made available to citizens electronically by reducing paperwork. The initiative also includes plan to connect rural areas with high-speed internet networks. Digital India has three core components. These include the creation of digital infrastructure, delivering services digitally and digital literacy



------CSC-SPV (CSC e-Governance Services India Ltd)

As per the CSC Scheme policy, a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) has been formed, so that the Government can progressively migrate to an e-Governance platform and enable services through the CSC network. The CSC SPV which is named as “CSC e-Governance Services India Ltd” has been incorporated under the Companies Act 1956 on 16th July 2009. The Company has also received the Certificate for Commencement of Business on 12th August 2009. The shareholders of the SPV include Government of India through 1 Golden share, State Governments – up to 44.5 % shares, SCAs - up to 44.5 % shares and Financial Institutions - up to 11 % shares.

The SPV is proposed to adopt various roles. At the basic level, the SPV is conceptualized to monitor the CSC Scheme and its outcomes on behalf of the Government at the National and State levels. In brief, key roles would include:

  • Facilitating Government Outreach through CSCs
  • Providing a standardized monitoring framework for collaborative decision making process with State Governments and SCAs
  • Catalyzing and maintaining content aggregation on an on-going basis
  • Enabling Government functioning through the CSCs
  • Facilitating G2C Service Readiness
  • Monitoring the outcomes being achieved by the CSC
  • Building Capacity of all stakeholders
  • Facilitating in Deployment of Services
  • Looping Best Practices

The CSC ecosystem is expected to eventually comprise more than one lakh VLEs, 20 SCAs, 35 SDAs and a host of public and private entities as service providers. Managing a dynamic ecosystem of such diversity and complexity would require a dedicated entity at the heart of the network to seamlessly manage and maintain these relationships, and to ensure continual systemic viability and stability. The SPV is expected to function as the anchor agency, stepping in to strengthen interrelationships and linkages where ever necessary. In sum, while the CSCs are primarily entrepreneur driven business entities, standing or falling largely on the basis of their commercial sustainability; it will be the task of the SPV to not only ensure that these business objectives are met by managing the CSC network as an economically viable eco-system, but also to ensure that the basic public-policy mandate and purpose of the CSC project remains the central objective of the programme."

This website allows citizens to volunteer for specific projects and also invite suggestions regarding various policy decisions. The National Informatics Centre (NIC) and the Department of Electronics and Information Technology (DeitY) will be managing this platform

MyGov aims to help citizens contribute in governance by giving their opinions and views on important issues like clean Ganga or skill development
